Please read these Terms and Conditions before using orbitalrc.co.uk, placing an order, or attending any Orbital RC event. By using our website, buying from us, or attending an event, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. About Us
Orbital RC is a trading name of Game Trading Group Ltd, registered in England and Wales (Company No. 13828811). References to "we", "us", or "Orbital RC" mean Game Trading Group Ltd.

2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website, placing an order, or attending any Orbital RC event (including outdoor sessions), you confirm you are at least 18 years old, or are the parent or guardian of a minor attending on their behalf, that you have read and understood these terms, and that you agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, please do not use our website, services, or attend our events.
3. Products
We sell RC cars, kits, parts, accessories, batteries, and related hobby products. All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time without notice.
Product descriptions, images, and specifications are provided in good faith and are as accurate as possible. Colours may vary slightly from images due to monitor calibration and photographic lighting. Minor variations do not constitute a defect.
4. Indoor Events
We organise and host indoor RC events including Drift Nights, Crawler Mornings, and Big Meet events. The following terms apply to all indoor event attendance:
- Walk-in events (Drift Nights, Crawler Mornings) are subject to venue capacity. Entry is on a first-come, first-served basis at the door.
- Ticketed events (Big Meets) require a valid ticket for entry. Tickets are non-transferable unless otherwise stated.
- We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove attendees who behave in a manner that is dangerous, disruptive, or in breach of venue rules.
- Event dates and venues are subject to change. We will provide as much notice as possible via our website and social media channels.
- Attendance at indoor events is at your own risk. We are not liable for loss or damage to personal equipment, including RC cars, batteries, or accessories, brought to events except where such loss or damage is caused by our negligence.
- All attendees must comply with venue rules and any safety instructions issued by our staff.
- Eye protection is strongly recommended for all track-side participants at indoor sessions.
5. Outdoor Sessions
From time to time Orbital RC organises informal outdoor RC crawling sessions at publicly accessible outdoor locations in and around Hertfordshire. These sessions are community events held in uncontrolled outdoor environments. The following terms apply in addition to all other applicable terms in this document.
Participation at own risk
Outdoor sessions are held on natural terrain including footpaths, bridleways, common land, woodland, and hillside environments. Such terrain is inherently unpredictable and may present hazards including uneven ground, exposed roots, mud, water, steep inclines, and overhead obstacles. By attending an outdoor session you acknowledge these risks and confirm that you participate entirely at your own risk.
We strongly recommend that all attendees wear appropriate outdoor footwear, carry a fully charged mobile phone, and satisfy themselves that they are physically capable of the terrain before attending. If you have any medical condition that may be affected by outdoor activity, please consult your doctor before attending.
Minors
Attendees under 18 years of age must be accompanied at all times by a parent or legal guardian who accepts these terms on their behalf and takes full responsibility for the minor's safety and conduct throughout the session. We do not supervise children. Unaccompanied minors will not be permitted to participate.
Equipment and personal property
You bring all personal property — including RC vehicles, batteries, chargers, tools, and any other equipment — to outdoor sessions entirely at your own risk. We accept no liability for loss, theft, or damage to personal property at outdoor sessions howsoever caused, including loss or damage resulting from terrain conditions, weather, collision with other vehicles, or contact with natural obstacles.
You are responsible for ensuring your equipment is appropriate for outdoor use and in a safe condition before attending. RC vehicles with inadequate waterproofing may sustain damage on terrain that includes water features or wet ground. This is entirely the owner's responsibility.
Third-party land and access
Outdoor sessions are conducted on land that Orbital RC does not own or control. This includes public footpaths, bridleways, common land, and other publicly accessible areas. You are responsible for being aware of and complying with any applicable bylaws, access agreements, countryside codes, or landowner permissions relevant to the location. Orbital RC accepts no liability arising from your breach of any access condition or bylaw.
The Countryside Code applies at all outdoor sessions. All attendees must keep to permitted paths where required, leave no litter, leave gates as found, respect all wildlife, and not cause damage to fences, hedges, walls, crops, or vegetation.
Damage to property
You are personally liable for any damage caused by you, your RC vehicle, or any person in your care to any property, land, flora, fauna, or infrastructure at or near an outdoor session location. Orbital RC accepts no liability for such damage and reserves the right to seek reimbursement from the responsible party where damage results from a breach of these terms.
Weather and cancellation
Outdoor sessions may be cancelled, relocated, or curtailed at short notice due to adverse weather conditions, restricted land access, or other circumstances beyond our control. We will provide as much notice as possible via our social media channels. We accept no liability for travel costs, accommodation costs, or any other expenses incurred by attendees in connection with a cancelled or altered outdoor session.
Alcohol, substances, and conduct
The consumption of alcohol or use of any controlled substance is not permitted at outdoor sessions. Any attendee found to be under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances will be asked to leave immediately. We reserve the right to refuse participation to any person whose behaviour we consider poses a risk to themselves or others.
Emergencies
All attendees should carry a fully charged mobile phone and be aware of their location in the event that emergency services need to be contacted. In an emergency, call 999. We strongly recommend that at least one person in any group attending an outdoor session is familiar with basic first aid. Orbital RC does not provide a first aid service at outdoor sessions.
Insurance
We strongly recommend that all attendees hold appropriate personal liability and equipment insurance before attending outdoor sessions. Orbital RC does not provide personal liability or equipment insurance on behalf of attendees.
Limitation of liability — outdoor sessions
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Orbital RC and Game Trading Group Ltd accept no liability for any loss, injury, illness, death, or damage to property arising from attendance at or participation in an outdoor session, except where such liability arises from our own negligence and cannot be excluded by law. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
6. Placing an Order
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the product(s) at the stated price. Your order is accepted when we send a dispatch confirmation email. We reserve the right to decline any order, including where stock is unavailable or a pricing error has occurred.
You are responsible for ensuring your delivery details are accurate. We cannot accept liability for non-delivery resulting from incorrect information provided by you.
7. Pricing & Payment
All prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include UK VAT where applicable. Prices may change without notice but will not affect confirmed orders.
Payment is required at the time of ordering. We accept major credit and debit cards and other payment methods displayed at checkout. All payment processing is handled by secure third-party providers — we do not store your full card details.
If a pricing error occurs, we reserve the right to cancel and refund the affected order.
8. Delivery
We aim to dispatch orders within the timeframe shown at checkout. Delivery timescales are estimates and not guarantees. We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including courier delays or customs processing for international orders.
Risk and title pass to you upon delivery. If your order does not arrive within a reasonable period, please contact us at hello@orbitalrc.co.uk.
9. Returns & Cancellations
Your statutory rights under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 apply. For full details of our returns process, please see our Returns & Refunds Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
10. Faulty or Damaged Products
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, products must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If you receive a faulty or damaged product, please contact us within 30 days of delivery. We will arrange a replacement or full refund, including any delivery costs incurred.
11. Intellectual Property
All website content — including text, images, graphics, the Orbital RC name, logo, and orbit mark — is the property of Game Trading Group Ltd or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property law. You may not reproduce or use any content without our prior written consent.
12. Website Use
You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others. You must not introduce malicious code, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or conduct any activity that could damage or impair the website.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you in connection with any product or service will not exceed the price paid for that product or service. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or economic losses including lost profit, lost data, or loss of business opportunity.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
14. Third-Party Links
Our website may link to third-party sites. We are not responsible for their content, and use of those sites is at your own risk.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms at any time. The version published on our website at the time of your order or event attendance will be the version that applies.
16. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
